Overall were 39,695 pigeons basketed for the national race BOURGES III (5,529 old birds, 7,617 yearlings and 26,549 young birds). The first national race on the difficult middle distance in Belgium for the young pigeons.

Niels Broeckx (Oud-Turnhout) Belgium became national winner in the category “Young pigeons”. Your pigeon “QUEEN BOURGES” was stopped at 2:33:27 p.m. on Saturday after a flight of 531 km, reaching an average speed of 1,403.04 m/min.

This was also the fastest of 39,695 pigeons.

After winning the 2nd National Tulle and the 2nd National Limoges, the hunt for the coveted 1st National remained for Marleen & Jan open.
