Günter Prange is an absolute figurehead of the German pigeon sport. Throughout his career he has won everything there is to win, from local to national level.
In addition, up to 2019 he won no less than 7 times the Goldene Taube Deutschland of the magazine De Duif, joining a row with the six-time Belgian winner Jos Thoné and the four-time Dutch winner Kees Bosua. Anyone who challenges this former boxer in the sporting field will quickly notice that Günter still has a big sportsman's heart, which was transferred to his pigeons after his career as a boxer. His lineage is based on pigeons from Maurice Delbar crossed with pigeons from Cornelis and Gerard Koopman. The absolute progenitor was a son of 'Beatrix-Doffer' x 'Daughter Sultan' by Koopman with the ring number NL 94-2227959, who, among other things, became the father of several cracks, including the famous 'Ringlose Nr. 12'. Since Günter approaches the pigeon sport in all its facets in a very well thought-out manner, he strives for simplicity in everything. That's why he was also looking for a basic mixture that he could give his pigeons all year round with small additions. He developed such a mixture together with BEYERS, which goes by the name of BEYERS PREMIUM PRANGE “GRAND PRIZE” was put on the market. This system mix has since become one of the most popular mixes for many pigeon lovers.

In 2020 Günter Prange will now win the coveted trophy “GOLD DOVE” for the eighth time. A fantastic result, a record for the ages. Not only the "Gouden Duif" moves to Meppen, but also all three Superstar titles have been conquered: Superstar of the year short distance, Superstar of the year middle distance and Superstar of the year long distance. A “Gouden Duif” ceremony as usual was not possible this year.
