The 2021 season at a glance

The perennial favorites in the German pigeon sport, Roland and Denis Faber, can also look back on a very successful season at the end of 2021. As is well known, the bar for success is very high in the house of Hamburg.

Due to time constraints, only females are played. Most of the young males go to Sören Pahl as youngsters, who lives in the neighboring RV Lauenburg under the name SG Pahl & Faber is playing. Anyone who took a look at the annual association championship could discover both impact communities at the top. The year-old hens were played at the SG Faber (Roland and Denis) in the RV Hamburg from 1889 and won 11th place at national level. The year-old males were bought by Sören Pahl (SG Pahl & Faber) in the RV Lauenburg and played a large part in 13th place in the year-old championship at the federal level - amazing!

In this way a solution was found to play both sexes of the pigeons bred by Roland and Denis. "In our eyes it would be a shame to only play one sex," says Denis very aptly.

This cooperation also has its advantages on other levels: “There is mutual support, be it in the compilation
of the breeding pairs, cleaning campaigns or the annual vaccinations. And not to forget the constant exchange among each other. The breeding qualities of the breeding pigeons can be tested faster and more efficiently. New purchases are also made together, so that we also think about this together.”

Which product from Röhnfried would you not want to be without and why?
“Rotosal has always been a favorite for us. A product that we wouldn't want to do without, especially on the demanding easterly direction with regular head wind flights. The use of Flugfit dragees has more than paid off again this year. With the gift on the day of use, we give our pigeons a small package of provisions to take with them. To prepare for breeding, exposure is also given and Taubenfit E-50 is given over the water for 10-14 days.”
