WEST-VLAANDREN DOMINATES NATIONAL FLIGHT TULLE

The national flight Tulle took place in Belgium on Tuesday, after this flight had to be postponed by one day due to the weather. The release then took place at 7:30 a.m. under blue skies, no wind and good visibility.
Were basketed: 9,763 Oude + 6,842 Jaarse = total: 16,605 pigeons
from the 7 participating Belgian provinces.

It was foreseeable that the first placements would be found within the provinces of East and West Vlaanderen. However, it was not possible to foresee in advance that almost all of the leading positions would be found within a radius of around 30 km.

The first pigeon reached its home loft in Wervik at Ten Bielensteenweg 35 at 2:33:33 p.m. at a distance of 589 km, i.e. with a flight meter count of 1,391.84 flgm./min in Wervik.
1e and thus national winner was the pigeon B-21-3093290, a red hen "PRINCESS MICHELLE".
This hen, with a lot of blood from the loft of Gino Clique, Wevelgem, was crossed by the world-famous loft A. + M. Vanhee
basketed and now continues the long list of success stories of the Vanhee family. Furthermore, the 42e National could be recorded.
