If you look at the rankings this year, one name is high up again: SG Neuhaus & Son. Whether it's the German championship or the females, it's easy for the people of Düsseldorf - and it's been that way for years. They were even able to secure the German championship title with their yearlings. That's why they have always relied on pigeon feed from Mifuma. “We have always trusted the Relax, Energy and Grand Prix travel foods for adult animal travel. During demanding flights, one or two meals are accompanied by rich food such as the Power Mix,” says Friedrich Neuhaus. The constant easterly wind and the associated high flying speeds have caused problems for the two of them this year. “But if you end up placing well in many championships, then there is no reason to complain,” says Neuhaus.

The young pigeons are also supplied with Mifuma. “About 6 weeks after weaning they get top young pigeons – even during the trip. For flights of 200 km or more, we feed Energy and Grand Prix the day before the start, just like on the adult trip." When asked for a tip for success, Neuhaus replies: "You should basket the old and young pigeons as often as possible and under no circumstances should you bring pigeons home prematurely leave it – for whatever reason. Because only the basket can tell you whether you have good or bad pigeons!”

To complete the Neuhaus feeding concept, there are also feed varieties from Mifuma for the moulting animals. “I like variety in my moulting mix so I don't have to add additional components such as seeds. That's why I've been feeding 2/3 breeding + moulting special class with 1/3 breeding + moulting premium for years and I get along just fine with it."
