Our Active Pearl is a coated grain based on Milo with an extra portion of L-carnitine – for long-lasting, rising form and more flying pleasure. The pilled grain is available exclusively in Mifuma's pigeon program. Only Mifuma can use the gentle manufacturing process in which the grain is coated with a nutrient coating. The active pearl is very popular with the pigeons and can also be given as a small reward or treat.

Aktiv Pearl already makes sense for young pigeons

It is advisable to give the Aktiv Pearl as a complete feed to young pigeons for a whole day so that they quickly get used to the taste. If the young pigeons know the taste of the coated grain, it is recommended to feed them 3 grams per pigeon per day. Since the pigeons love the taste, you can also feed the pearl by hand and keep your pets nice and tame. Otherwise you mix them with the grain feed – best spread over two meals.

L-carnitine for the old pigeons

During the trip you should feed the old pigeons 5 g per pigeon every day. The need for old pigeons is higher because the flight distances are greater than for young pigeons. Here too, it is advisable to ideally spread the Active Pearl over two meals. This makes it easier for the pigeons to go to the feeding trough and eat with appetite.

All nutrients are retained - the pilling process

During pilling, as the manufacturing process for coated grains is called, the grain is coated with important minerals, vitamins and L-carnitine. Active pearl contains L-carnitine. L-Carnitine supports the metabolism in the cells and ensures better utilization of food in our racing pigeons. L-carnitine also protects the muscles from cramps and hyperacidity. The daily administration of the Active Pearl leads to an increased enjoyment of training and a higher willingness to perform in the races. Since L-carnitine cannot be produced in sufficient quantities by the pigeons themselves, it must be supplied to the pigeons elsewhere. Especially at longer flight distances, the pigeons need this addition in order to be able to meet the requirements. With our Active Pearl we have found a very good solution. If you feed the Aktiv Pearl regularly, you can avoid excessive administration of other supplements, as the vitamins, minerals and trace elements it contains largely cover your daily requirements.

Everything included with Elite Racing

Our Elite Racing is the only travel food that already contains the important active pearl. However, since only a basic supply is guaranteed here, it is recommended to offer the Active Pearl to the pigeons in addition to Elite Racing. Either mixed into the food or from your hand. The pigeons love it. With all other travel mixes from Mifuma, the Active Pearl should be added to the food every day to ensure that the L-carnitine requirement is completely covered.
