The second June weekend was in Germany the Ruhr area flight from Hemau with a participation of 23.858 pigeons, despite the non-participation of two regional organisations a considerable number of participants. Radiant winners were the Gebrüder Menke from Menden with their “ACE” 02618 12 1020.

Dr. Klaus Giesbert dominated the big list as a true champion of the Ruhr area.

It is hoped that the Ruhr 2016 reunited and will provide carrier pigeon sporting sensation.

In Belgium, a further national race from Gueret was on the agenda.
