36th NPO national days in Expo Houten
On 21 & 22 november

This weekend, for the 36th time than the NPO national days held. There is a full occupation of exhibitors and registration for the youth day and the exhibition are also soon expired, so it promises to be a true family celebration again.

The event experience
During the NPO national days is there much to do besides the exhibition area. For example, there is a Grand youth day organized, the most beautiful show pigeons from Netherlands on display and there is an annual theme, creating extra lots to see and do. The inscriptions of the business are the last months successful. Bearing in mind the current economic picture and what we see around us on the other pigeons fairs has hardly lost in numbers the event stands. There are over 100 exhibitors who participate this year and that's good. A visit to an event like the NPO national days offers much more than, for example, information searching on the internet. You can, of course, the many kinds of feed and by-products by the hands. A pigeon loft Aviary or you can walk. Spoednikken, breeding lofts and other hokinterieur you can touch and compare the different qualities. A pigeon can you take in the hand, but also very important is the personal contact with the exhibitors themselves. In short, it is the experience of a visit where a substance to each in its own way.

Hall auction
After many years is again the plan suggested that a sailing auction of pigeons to do. The exhibitors participating in the fair portion may be single or multiple pigeon auction. This is good hearing with actual top pigeons that come under the hammer. Children from winners of a 1st National on marathon flights, but also sprint and program pigeons with appealing origin en/of performance you will get. Purchase orders and for bidding via Internet is not possible, so it becomes a ouwerwetse Hall auction that takes place on both days on the big stage in Hall 2 from ca. 12 pm.

There are such a 1000 pigeons offered for sale, a record since 2005!
The national days have been a solid core of pigeons sellers that their pigeons for sharp prices. So we see for years Mr Baris from Veghel, but also Pigeon World from Rotterdam, Jan Harder from Klazienaveen, Peter Abbas from Boxmeer and Ben Schouten from London have been fixed participants. Evert Decosta of First Prize Pigeons is also back with a nice selection from their best pigeons. Since for some years there with long distance pigeons Mr Paul van den Boogaard from Kamerik. DHR. Van den Boogaard has been playing for years in the top of Afd. 5 on the extreme long distance, so definitely one worth watching. Also Jan dating is known for its beautiful show pigeons. A further 10 to 20 new exhibitors including some national toppers with a wide selection of program pigeons. An exhibitor who has for years with a very wide selection for sale pigeon breeding Center exhibits is Natural. At this breeding centre you can admire and possibly purchase all known old varieties at reasonable prices. But since 2014 also from performance pigeons, so definitely worth it to stop and take a look. Furthermore, there are a dozen new exhibitors who offer for sale pigeons and some even with very appealing performance.
In short a decent range of over 25 exhibitors who all in all approximately 1000 pigeons for sale. Which to Cap a or more of their best pigeons for sale during the auction!!!

Youth Day is fun for young and old
Where you as a visitor decides to take a look at the youth day. During the open inspection on Saturday morning for youth lovers (which is freely accessible for every visitor) you can still learn something. In any case you can see how a judge to the pigeon looks and how the points system is constructed, important for the fast-approaching exhibition season! In addition, there are several lectures in the morning hours, you can of course just as an adult there at present.

Pigeons for sale
Because many racing pigeon enthusiasts also keep pigeons are the friends "fly pigeon Sport" again invited. This VDS also let their all kinds of poultry breeds pigeons pigeons flying freely through the Hall.
