When we came in 2016 towards the end of Alttaubenreisesaison to Hubert Borker Lingen was an image installation that adorned Hubert with a dove and a laurel wreath at the front door. Günter Prange steht jedoch nicht nur als Lieferant von exzellentem Taubenmaterial zur Verfügung sondern hat darüber hinaus auch einen grossen Anteil am Bau des jetzigen Taubenschlages. Bei seinen ersten Besuchen bei Günter Prange war Hubert immer etwas neidisch auf die ausgefeilte Schlaganlage in Meppen. Hubert wohnte da in einem durchaus schmucken Eigenheim, schräg gegenüber von seinem heutigen Wohnhaus. In 2007 kaufte Hubert dann auf der anderen Strassenseite ein Geschäftshaus mit grossem Grundstück und errichtete nicht nur ein schmuckes Wohnhaus sondern auch nach Detailvorgaben von Günter Prange die imposante Schlaganlage.

Preise gegen sehr hohe Taubenzahlen sind ein Novum. So finden wir alleine bei drei Ruhrgebietssiegern der letzten Jahre Prange Nachzuchttauben. So gewinnt der 420 von Helmut Lettmann aus Recklinghausen den 1. Preis gegen 34.878 Tauben ab Osterhofen 520 km. Beide Eltern sind Prange-Nachzuchten. Die Gebr. Menke aus Menden gewannen mit dem 1020 mit Prange-Blut in seinen Adern den Flug ab Hemau gegen 24.000 Tauben und aktuell in 2016 gewinnt Heinz Keil mit seinem Nummer 6 den 1. Preis ab Hemau gegen 13.000. Tauben. In der Abstammung seiner Mutter finden wir auch den Prange-Zuchtvogel Nr. 1, den Ringlosen.
