Successfully on short and long distance

Es ist sicherlich nicht einfach auf allen Entfernungen gut spielen. Aber Gerard und Elly schaffen das in beeindruckender Weise. Auf den Zuchtschlägen sind die Paare für die unterschiedlichen Anforderungen selbstverständlich separiert. 28 Zuchtpaare für die Kurz-und Mittelstrecke und 16 Paare für die Weitstrecke sorgen für den notwendigen Nachwuchs. Die alten Tauben werden nach der totalen Witwerschaft gereist. Alle kommen sie jede Woche in den Korb, vom ersten bis zum letzten Flug.

 

The young pigeons

Especially the youngsters had by winning two national title an impressive season in 2015. Gerard and Elly breed about 150 youngsters per year. The female flew the 1st prize on August 1 from Morlincourt 2510 pigeons. The 15-006 comes paternal G&S Verkerk. CHARTS we find twice the known "Olympic Solange". The mother is a direct daughter of the "Bono".

This bird won 1st prize on August 16 from Pont st Maxence around 1661 pigeons. The father of the 983-15 is a pure L, B&J Geerinckx bird and the mother is a hybrid G&S Verkerk females with the "Bono".

The Blue Bird made the 1st Prize on August 29 from Troyes against 938 pigeons. De 065-15 927-08 has a father, a direct son of the breeding pair "Bulldozer x Sita" from G&S Verkerk. The mother is a granddaughter of the "Bono", the progenitor of Reedijk shock-Jongekrijg.

On September 6, the slightly hammered bird flew from Duffel against 1225 pigeons 1st Preisduiven. De 052-15 has as father a son of "Houdini" by G&S Verkerk. "Houdini" was even 2008 3rd National AS pigeon day long distance NPO. The mother of the 052-15 is again a granddaughter of the "Bono".

Am 12. September holte „Isa“ den 1. Preis ab Sens gegen 1099 Tauben. „Isa“ machte jedoch nicht nur den 1. Preis in der Fluggemeinschaft Hoekse Waard, sondern auch den 1. Preis im Rayon Oost Afdeling 5 gegen 3119 Tauben und den 3. NPO afdeling 5 gegen 6048 Tauben. Dier Eltern von “Isa” sind das schon genannte “Teletext Paar”, “Starlight“ x „Daldina“. Sie sind auch die Eltern von „Olympic Danica“ (Olympiade Taube 2009, 2. Kategorie Fond), „Butterfly Blue“, „Yuna“ (4. AS-Taube Jährige TBOTB 2013) und „Louis Vuitton“ (3. AS-Taube Junge WHZB). Die Mutter “Daldina” ist übrigens auch eine Tochter des “Bono”.

It is anything but a coincidence that all youngsters mentioned here that win the national championships in 2015, descendants of the "Bono" are. Gerard and Elly have successfully understood all these years, to keep the original strain of Gebr. Janssen intact and with the best lines of G&S Verkerk to merge into one of the most powerful pigeons stocks in Europe.
