Brockamp, Peter Dr. Hans-Peter – International Long Distance Champions
Our stroke community consists of Father Peter and son Dr. Hans – Peter Brockamp. We live in the picturesque town of Boppard on the Rhine, not far from the famous Loreley rock.
My Father Peter deals since 1948, with pigeons and can look back on a brilliant career as a breeder and players. Already in the 1950s, he was for the first time RV master. A series of newspaper clippings show that he was not to beat pigeons in the RV Koblenz and surroundings in the 1960s with his Huyskens-van Riel. 12 first prizes were won alone in 1967!
When I, who was at first fascinated by the long haul flights, grew slowly in the action, the step to the long distance was quickly done: mid-1980s international flights decided, Pau, Barcelona, Dax, Marseille, Perpignan by playing internationally in great competition with the most prestigious beats of Europe can compete.
Within the last 10 years we have we developed the most gambling breeders of the one day long distance in Europe. Should definitely be unique, that in 1999 only 3 weeks a Brockamp Dove both against 17.584 pigeons won the international victory Bordeaux (858 km) against 11.644 year old pigeons, as well as the international victory of Perpignan (912 km).
In addition we won in addition to two other national victories on the South East, the 2 national Marseille in 2001 and 1997 the 5th national 12 international Marseille against 15.990 pigeons. All these pigeons reached the home impact on race day. With the exception of Barcelona we succeeded on all international flights, which means the range 991 km and the distance of 982 km Dax in addition of Pau.
All cam not sold without exception despite high bids and now sit on our breeding loft – Of course the parents of the winner from Perpignan and Bordeaux. In addition, we have also the parents of Olympic bird category long distance South Africa 2001.
The pigeon sport is operated by us with clear and ambitious objectives, but as a hobby and to compensate for the professional life. Our manageable pigeon stock counts about 150 animals in the winter.
Friendships
It is not necessary to travel to get to good pigeons to Belgium or Holland. Real friendships also help out. We carry an almost family-like relationship to the Very much charming family Menne from Hamminkeln and Josef fur from Erkelenz and Harald Schröder from Aachen. Exchanged ideas and even pigeons and at least once in the year a meeting is Instead of where all are present. And what do you think has our “Club” together? The answer is easy:
All won a national - or international flight in the last 4 years! Friedhelm Menne won Bordeaux wife Ulrike and her daughters Simone, Raphaela and Fabienne 1998 national with the “Night flyer”. This year they did us and won “Serena” Perpignan international against nearly 20,000 pigeons. Josef fell was impressed with the 1st and 2nd National Cahors 1999, after he won the 1st National Bordeaux a year previously. Not to mention Harald Schröder with his 1st International Bordeaux 1999 against 11,600 pigeons. He gave these pigeons By the way as a young animal from us! Are these results random?
