Die Schlaggemeinschaft Richter und Lipski besteht seit dem Jahre 2014. Ihr gehören der 39-jährige Jörg Richter, sein Vater, der 68-jährigen Heinz Richter und Michael Lipski (55) an. Das Erfolgstrio ist in Herten beheimatet, wobei die Straße vor dem Wohnhaus die Trennlinie zwischen Herten und Gelsenkirchen darstellt. Unsere Sportfreunde spielen in der RV Gelsenkirchen-Buer aus der Südostrichtung mit Endflug Wels. Taubensport wird bereits seit 1962 im Hause Richter betrieben. Heinz erhielt seine erste Taube von einem Arbeitskollegen seines Vaters und zahlte dafür 2 DM (1 Euro). Sportfreund Lipski ist seit seinem 7. Lebensjahr Taubenzüchter, unterstützte zunächst Züchter in der Umgebung und hielt im Hühnerstall selbst eigene Tauben. Später reiste er alleine, musste das Hobby aber wegen der Raubvogelplage aufgeben. Seit dem Zusammenschluss ist er für die Zuchttauben zuständig, die sich auf seinem Grundstück ca. 200 m Luftlinie vom Grundstück der Richters befindet, von dem gereist wird.

Überraschend ist die Zuchtstrategie, denn hier wird, besonders bei jungen Zuchttauben, die freie Partnerwahl bevorzugt. Daraus haben sich schon super Verpaarungen ergeben. Gerne wird aber auch in Linie zusammen gesetzt. Besonders bewährt haben sich die Kreuzungen van Dijk x Heremans. Der Nachwuchs rekrutiert sich vornehmlich aus dem Zuchtschlag und den dort untergebrachten ca. 40 Paaren, die Ende Dezember bis Mitte Januar zusammen gesetzt werden. Ab und an werden jedoch Gelege aus den besten Reisetauben umgelegt. Für den Eigenbedarf werden ungefähr 150 Jungtiere aufgezogen. Diese relativ hohe Anzahl wird jedoch erheblich durch ein Wanderfalkenpaar dezimiert, das ca. 300 m Luftlinie entfernt sein Domizil hat. Die Jungtauben werden von April bis zum 21.06. für 14 Stunden verdunkelt, jedoch nicht getrennt gehalten.
