The Sportfreunde Zorn-Reinert can look back on the 2022 season with more than 57% tour guides of their pigeons again on a very good racing season. With these achievements, the 1st RV Championship was won with 5 pigeons and 56 prizes in 13 flights. Since only the birds travel, the five best birds won 56 prizes and thus also the first RV championship was won with the birds. 4x the 1st prize was won in the old and yearling trip. The two best birds also occupy the first two places of all RV pigeons and were 5th and 9th AS bird in the regional association 405!

Here the 3rd RV championship was won with over 53% travel performance, although it was not an easy year for this generation. Here the 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th best pigeon are placed. Top performances were achieved on different flights with 49/30, 48/31, 48/39, 48/28, 36/24 pigeons. Both come from the B-97-9985 a son of "Kannibaal". Many direct descendants and other generations of these "little hammered" are absolute top fliers from 150-650 km with a number of 1 prizes, winners of many championships and medals! For this reason there are still 24 direct offspring in the traveling team or in the breeding loft. In addition to these pigeons, there are the successful lines of Leo Heremans. A daughter from the super couple "Rossi" x "Spinneke", a sister of "Floris", grandfather of "Uranus" and "Fina". magnanimityter of the "Olympic Hurrican" at Willem de Bruijn, as well as a daughter of the "Favorite Pair", characterize the stock as the second line with their super fast offspring. A third line is formed by the old Koopman pigeons, who switched to SG Zorn - Reinert via Dirk de Beer. Of course, the descendants of "Gus" and "346" must also be mentioned, which also belong to the top performers. Although there is a special breeding line, we are always on the lookout for further opportunities to improve performance. For this reason, some offspring of the Leideman brothers from their successful lines "Ace 820", "Crack19", "Goed Grijs", "Silver Dream", "Raissa" were introduced. A daughter of the new top couple "Monello" x "Selassie" could also be acquired. Her siblings win, among other things, 1st and 2nd prize NPO Sens against 10,425 pigeons.

The travel method

For a number of years, the birds have only been part of the old travel programme. The females are allowed to join their mates for 20-30 minutes before each flight, and then the birds are placed in the baskets. It has been found that in the case of total widowhood, the fast cocks in particular sometimes have to wait too long for their hens after returning home and then quickly fail. For this reason, traveling with the females would only be an option if the partner would not take part in the flights. This involves significantly more time and more punch capacity. However, the method currently used shows that very good results can also only be achieved with the males. During the young trip, attention is only paid to the "punctual return home" and the vitality of the animals. For this reason, the animals are neither darkened nor exposed to light, nor are they trained privately. The prizes won are considered secondary. However, one particularly pays attention to the willingness to fly of the young pigeons in the house, because poorly trained pigeons do not get to know the wider environment and are increasingly lost on the flights. In order to give the youngsters a good start for their future, all youngsters take part in principle. For the last two years, the young animals have also been vaccinated against rotaviruses.

The supply

Nothing has changed in the known care of the pigeons for several years. Here one remains true to the KLAUS PRODUCTS. The 25% supply system has proven itself very well, the animals are fit all year round!
