Dear readers and readers,

I want to start something unpleasant - even if it is itself affected -. In issue 5/2015 we reported on page 18 of the 1st Association champions with old pigeons of the Austrian carrier pigeon Association Josef Königshofer. But in the table of contents on page 3 of the same issue a "Kaiser" was from the "Kaiser" made - embarrassing - but happens. Neither the person concerned, even the author, let Austrian sports fans have complained – Nevertheless this correction. That the successful practice of the pigeon sport almost requires an expertise of the Dove sportsman in this day and age, you can I think not more away discussing. To underpin this competence, to expand - Yes - to increase, have our authors thought again and indicate problems in the travel operation and pigeon husbandry generally in professional posts. It comes to the drinking water supply of pigeons, advice of pigeon vet, answering questions by the pigeon sport - pharmacist or the unresolved mystery of the rapid Heimfindevermögens with a sport friend mislaid in the years repeatedly employed. The one or the other sports fans might think maybe "Have we ever heard about or read". This may be or, but there are not things that too often can be pointed out - because, without health care, as well as proper care and our pigeons, no satisfaction, no joy, and of course also no success in pigeon keeping are possible.

In this sense 'Freedom in the pigeon sport', we are working!
